Welcome to the intersection of psychology, technology, and security. We explore the art of human manipulation, OSINT gathering, and the cognitive biases that define the human element of cybersecurity.
The Social Engineering Village was founded by Prathmesh Dharkar (aka NittoSec) after identifying a critical gap in the industry regarding the "Human Element" of security.
Starting its journey at the renowned SeaSides Conference, the village was established to change the narrative. We are a movement dedicated to educating the community on the nuances of psychological manipulation, advanced Social Engineering tactics, and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT).
Understanding the cognitive biases and heuristics that attackers exploit. We delve deep into the psychology of persuasion, influence, and manipulation detection.
Digital footprints never disappear. We teach the methodologies of Open Source Intelligence gathering to understand what data is public and how it can be weaponized.
