Introduction
Automated System to Detect Fashion Trends
The fashion industry is inherently dynamic, with trends shifting
rapidly due to cultural infl uences, technological advancements,
and evolving consumer preferences. In the digital age, the
proliferation of data across social media, online stores, fashion
blogs, and other platforms has made it both possible and
necessary to capture and analyze these trends in real-time.
Traditionally, fashion trend forecasting has relied on manual
analysis by industry experts, but with the surge in digital
content, this approach is becoming increasingly ineffi cient.

DATA FLOW DIAGRAM
A Data Flow Diagram (DFD) is a graphical
representation of the fl ow of data through an
information system. It shows how data is processed
by a system in terms of inputs and outputs. For the
human detector and counter project, the DFD will
illustrate how data moves from the camera through
the processing stages to produce the count of
detected humans.
