SUMMER HOLIDAYS’
HOMEWORK
CLASS-IX A
"Education isn’t confined to what we know - it’s the
key to discovering what lies beyond."
Dear Children,
As summer vacation begins, we are delighted to share with you a thoughtfully
crafted Holiday Homework Package designed to make your break both joyful and
meaningful. Our aim is to ensure that your vacation becomes a perfect blend of
fun, learning, and exploration.
This year, we’ve taken a step further by integrating elements of Project-Based
Learning (PBL) — an approach that encourages you to investigate real-world
problems, work collaboratively, and think critically. These projects will help you
connect classroom learning with everyday life, spark your curiosity, and nurture a
love for independent learning.
Each task has been carefully curated to broaden your perspective, enhance your
skills, and inspire creativity — all while having fun. This is a wonderful
opportunity to explore new interests, experiment with ideas, and learn through
doing.
Remember, your parents and guardians are always there to guide you — don’t
hesitate to involve them in your learning journey.
We can’t wait to see your innovative, thoughtful, and creative submissions when
school reopens!
NOTE: Summer Holiday Homework will be assessed and marks will be reflected in
the Report Card
Guidelines for Students:
1. Spend less time with gadgets, and more quality time with your parents and
grandparents -they are your greatest source of wisdom and love.
2. Read novels, poems, autobiographies, newspapers, or stories to enrich your
vocabulary and develop real-life skills.
3. Visit relatives and friends — these bonds will strengthen your social and emotional
well-being.
4 Wake up early, exercise regularly, and eat fresh fruits and vegetables to stay fit.
5. Go for a morning walk daily to stay active and refreshed.
6. Stay hydrated — drink plenty of water and healthy fluids to beat the summer heat.
7. Set aside time daily to revise your Periodic Test–1 syllabus, as it is scheduled just
after school reopens.
Make it a season of discovery and joy.
Wishing you a happy, safe, and educational summer vacation!
Warm Regards

EXPOSITION 2025
Dear Parents,
Every year, our school conducts the much-awaited Exposition -a vibrant celebration
of learning, creativity, and innovation. Its a time when imagination takes center
stage and young minds bring ideas to life!
Following our guiding rule of 3Cs – Creativity, Collaboration, and Curiosity, this
year‘s Exposition will be held in July 2025. The theme for IX -A is “ECO
FRIENDLY PRODUCTS".
Important Guidelines for the Model-Making:
1. The model should be large in size yet compact, sturdy, and easy to carry.
2. Try to use eco-friendly materials like: Old cartons, cardboard boxes, and paper
rolls, Ice cream sticks, clay, jute, and fabric scraps, bottle caps, thread spools, and
newspaper etc.
3. Encourage your child to use their own ideas and imagination — we love
originality!
4. The model should be relevant to the topic and must reflect the child‘s
understanding of the same.
5. Ensure all parts of the model are properly labeled and neat.
6. Add a small description card to explain the concept in 3-4 simple lines.
7. Use safe, non-toxic materials only - no sharp edges or harmful substances.
8. Try to make the model interactive or movable, if possible (wheels, sliders, pop-
ups, etc.).
9. Let the child practice explaining the model in their own words.
10. Please do not send any readymade or store-bought models - learning is in the
making!
