The area that interests me is information
security.
Of all the areas I learned about, the one that caught my attention the most was Information
Security. I liked it because it doesn't just focus on the technical side, but also on
management—on how companies protect their information on a daily basis.

I would like to specialize in this field and learn how to create security policies, implement
controls such as encryption, authentication, and data backups, but also help people
understand how to protect their own information.
What I expect from a career in
cybersecurity
Since I started learning about cybersecurity, I realized it’s not just about “hacking” or
protecting networks — it’s about taking care of the most valuable thing people and
organizations have: their information.

What I expect from this career is to be able to help protect that data, understand how real
threats work, and how to prevent them. I’d like to develop skills that allow me to respond to
incidents, but also prevent them from happening in the first place.
