Did you know?
• 75 %of the time resting
• herbivorous mammal
• early morning and late afternoon hours
• Central and south america tropical rain forests
• 76.2 centimeters(max)
• cecropia tree leafs
• 6 species
• They can be Orange, grey , Brown and green
• They can fall 30 meters without any injury
• They take 30 days to digest a leaf
Endangered specie
• Maned Sloths- they are considered
endangered because of the canopy
fragmentation and urbanization effects
they can be found in brazil (bahia, Espírito
Santo and Rio de Janeiro)

• Pygmy sloth- They are the Sloths we usually


see on the internet but unfortunatly they only
can be found on na uninhabited Island off the
coast of Panama on the list of the last oficial
made in 2012 there were only 79 individuals left.
