Nothing in This

The project aims to convert the hazardous Pink Morning Glory plant into activated charcoal for use in eco-friendly supercapacitors. The goal is to create a cost-effective device with high power delivery and stability while reducing environmental impact. The proposed method focuses on utilizing all parts of the plant, which has not been previously reported in literature.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE
• To convert ‘Hazardous’ Pink morning glory to
‘Wealth’ Activated charcoal
• To fabricate an eco-friendly, cost-effective, and
flexible SC device with high power delivery, large
cycling stability, less charging time, long shelf life,
low internal resistance, and excellent cyclability.
• To prepare activated charcoal from Pink morning
glory (flowers, stems, and leaves) by chemical
activation to reduce these hazardous weeds and
save the environment.
EXISTING METHOD
• Reductant free synthesis of silver-carbon
nanocomposite using low temperature
carbonized Ipomoea carnea
• stem carbon and study of its antibacterial
property
