the best candidate for the position.

expectations?
A loaded question. A nasty game that you will
probably lose if you answer first.
Do your best not to bring up compensation until the
employer makes you an offer.

priority for me. This is a big platform to start my
carrier. So I Expect a considerable salary according to
my ability and your company’s norms which will fulfil
my economical needs.
Example for Experienced:- I have __ years experience
in __ field. Salary has never been a big issue for me.
Still I am expecting salary as company’s norms as per
my designation and my qualification and experience
which can help me to maintain the standard level of

Where do you see yourself
after five years?
There’s really no right answer to
this question.
But the interviewer wants to
know that you’re ambitious,
career oriented, an committed to
a future with the company.
So instead of sharing your dream
for early retirement, or trying to
be funny, give them an answer
that illustrate your drive

What motivates you?
This question is practically beginning you to
highlight your positive attributes. So don’t
give a generic response. It tells them very
little about you.
Instead, try and use this question as an
opportunity to give the interviewer an insight
into your character, and use examples where
possible.
Example: I have always been motivated by
the challenge of increasing achievement. I
know that this job is very fast paced and test
– driven, I’m more than up for the challenge.
In fact, I thrive on it. Prepared by CA Ayush

WORK HERE?
The interviewer is listening for an
answer that indicates you’ve given
some thought and are not sending out
resumes just because there is an
opening.
For example: “I have selected key
companies whose mission statements
are in line with my values, where I know
I could be excited about what the
company does, and this company is very
high on my list of desirable choices”.
