Population Pyramids

Population pyramids are bar charts that illustrate the age and gender structure of a country, with the x-axis representing population numbers or percentages and the y-axis showing age categories. They are useful for understanding birth rates, death rates, and life expectancy. Different stages of development are characterized by varying proportions of young, middle-aged, and elderly populations.
