Pre-Historic
Era
Pre history is term for
extensive time period
before humans created
writing systems. Abacus
was invented.
Important person
during this era were
Blaise Pascal, Charles
Babbage and Augusta
Ada Byron, the first
computer programmer.
Electronic Era
The advent of solid
state devices or
electronic devices.
During the WW2
american developed
the first electronic
computer whic is
ENIAC. Followed by
UNIVAC, EDVAC, and
IBM 360. That gave
birth for the foundation
of the present
Mini Era
Integrated circuit in 1959
by Texas instruments and
Semiconductor. The
important person are
Steve Jobs and Steve
Wozniak who build and
sell blue boxes in
Southern California in
1971 so as Ivan
Sutherland demonstrate a
program called sketchpad
Micro Era
In 1980’s micro era
provided a smooth
transition from large
centralized computers to
the PC. Example, Apple
computer II. It is a 8 bit
home computer design
by Steve Wozniak. The
IBM Pc is released in
August 1981.
Network Era
In this era, Tim
Berners-Lee and the
team CERN invent the
WWW to make the
information easier to
publish and access on
the internet like
Facebook, Youtube,
Twitter, and Google.
