BIO GAS
PLANT:
• IOCL has an in-house biogas plant for
sustainable waste management.
• Organic waste (mainly food and kitchen
waste) is used as input.
• Biogas is produced via anaerobic digestion
in a sealed digester.
• The methane-rich biogas is utilized for
cooking purposes at the facility.
• Reduces dependence on conventional LPG
and lowers carbon emissions.
• By-product slurry is used as organic
manure or safely disposed.
• Promotes clean energy, cost savings, and
environmental sustainability.

ONGOING R&M
OF PMCC WALL
DAMAGED DUE
TO WATER
SEEPAGE :
• Issue Identified: PMCC wall
water seepage.
damaged due to

• Root Cause: Uncontrolled plant growth near

the wall caused cracks, leading to moisture
ingress.
• Impact: Risk to electrical systems, corrosion
of components, and structural degradation.
ONGOING R&M OF
PMCC WALL
DAMAGED DUE TO
WATER SEEPAGE :
R&M MEASURES TAKEN:

• Removal of plant roots and vegetation from the affected

area.
• Cleaning and repairing cracks caused by root penetration.
• Application of waterproofing treatments and sealing
compounds.
• Replastering with moisture-resistant materials.
• Preventive Steps: Improved landscaping control and
regular inspection of surrounding areas.
• Current Status: Repair work underway, monitored by
maintenance and safety teams.
RCC DRAIN :
• Purpose: To manage rainwater runoff a
nd prevent waterlogging.
• Problem: During rainy season, water us
ed to flow through a civilian's agricultur
al field behind the depot's border wall.
• Impact: Led to disruption of farming acti
vity and complaints from the landowner
.
• Solution: Construction of a Reinforced
Cement Concrete (RCC) drain to redire
ct rainwater safely.

Benefits:
• Prevents unauthorized water flow into p
rivate land.
• Protects civilian agricultural activity.
• Ensures proper drainage and depot bo
undary protection.
RCC WATCH
TOWER :
• Structure Type: Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) tower for
surveillance and security.
• Purpose: Provides elevated view for monitoring plant premises
and entry/exit points.
• Components:
• RCC foundation, columns, and platform.
• Staircase or ladder access for personnel.
• Guard cabin or sheltered top for all-weather use.

Benefits:
• Durable and weather-resistant structure.
• Ensures round-the-clock security and early threat detection.
• Safety Provisions: Equipped with railings, anti-slip steps, and
lighting for night visibility.
SECURITY CABIN
AT MAIN GATE
• Current Cabin Location: Near Gate 1 of the depot.
• Cabin Size: 3.5 m × 2.5 m (internal dimensions).
• Functions:
• Gate Pass Management system
• Registers for TT (Tank Truck) entry/exit
• Visitor & material entry tracking
• Lady security accommodation
• Equipment Inside:
• CCTV monitor
• HHMD, FLP torch light
• ABAT device, GPU unit
• Vehicle scanning mirror
• Sensitive document storage
• Proposal: Existing cabin to be demolished and replaced
with a larger, upgraded security room for new gadgets
as per updated security standards.
TESTS GIVEN :

• STONE MASONRY
• RCC PAVEMENT
• BOOSTER PUMP FOMULATION -
MATHURA REFINERY
• BASIC CIVIL MATERIAL
INSPECTION AND TESTING
• GENERAL CIVIL MAINTENANCE
• SOIL STABILIZATION TECHNIQUE
