unless related to a specific function
and/or object.

Newly Introduced Mandatory
Tests for DMR
Recently, DMR introduced 9 tests which are mandatory to pass for an exportable garment to
avoid the customs barriers and maintain the Russian Govt. requirements & regulations.
Among the tests, 3 tests (Composition, Hygroscopicity & Air Permeability) can be performed in
Bangladesh and rest of all will be tested in Russia. The tests are-
1. Color Fastness to Sweat;
2. Color Fastness to Washing;
3. Color Fastness to Water;
4. Color Fastness to Perspiration;
5. Free Formaldehyde Test;
6. Composition Test;
7. Hygroscopicity Test;
8. Air Permeability Test;
9. Toxicity Index Test.

• Ask Lab Dip from factory in actual fabrication according to approved 1 st sample

• Lab Dip will be reviewed by RDL concern merchant and also with Fabric Tech Team

• Ask Fabric Quality Hanger from factory for PPS with FTD according to approved 1 st sample
3
• Fabric quality hanger of PPS will be reviewed by RDL concern Merchant and also with Fabric Tech Team
4
• Ask approved 3-meter fabric from factory for DMR test purposes in Local & MO
5
• Send 1.5-meter fabric to SGS for local test and other 1.5-meter fabric to MO for testing
6
• After getting satisfactory results on all tests and PPS approval onwards, ask First Bulk Lot (FBL) fabric from Factory
7 according to approved 1st sample/PPS
• FBL will be reviewed by RDL concern merchant and tech team for full bulk fabric dyeing permission
8
• From the second Bulk Lot, RDL station QA will review each and every lot for bulk approval & further procedure

1 • Dimensional stability Test and Composition Test will be done from Bulk garment also in RDL inhouse Lab

• LAB Dip will be reviewed by RDL concern merchant and also with Anton

• Lab Dip will be sent to MO (If required)
4
• Ask Fabric Quality Hanger from factory for PPS with FTD according to approved Lab Dip/Pantone/Ref.

• Fabric quality hanger of PPS will be reviewed by RDL concern Merchant and also with Fabric Tech Team
6
• Fabric quality hanger will be sent to MO (If required)
7
• Ask approved 3-meter fabric from factory for DMR test purposes in Local & MO
8
• Send 1.5-meter fabric to SGS for local test and other 1.5-meter fabric to MO for testing
• After getting satisfactory results on all tests and PPS approval onwards, ask First Bulk Lot (FBL) fabric from Factory
9 according to approved 1st sample/PPS
1 • FBL will be reviewed by RDL concern merchant and tech team for full bulk fabric dyeing permission
