THIS TEXT PROPERLY REACHED ITS FINAL FORM BY THE EARLY GUPTA PERIOD

CONNECTOR
I had a very good friend in my class with whom due to
some reasons, diff erences arose and we stopped talking
with each other. One day I came to know that he was
facing financial problems. So I contacted him and after
that I came to know the reason of his problem. I talked to
my parents and persuaded to helm him so that he could
be out of that problem for which my parents agreed.
With my small help, he was out of the woods.
MY INCIDENT IS SIMILAR WHICH WHAT HAPPENED WITH
THE PANDAVAS AND THE KAURAVAS . THE PANDAVAS
HELPED DURYODHANA WHO WAS IN HARD TROUBLE .
EVEN THOUGH THE KAURAVAS WERE THEIR BIGGEST
ENEMY , THEY STILL HELPED DURYODHANA AS HE WAS
VERY CLOSE TO HIM . REMEMBER, ENMITY BREAKS
HEARTS APART, BUT LOVE ASSEMBLES THE PIECES .
ILLUSTRATOR
◦The idea of drawing this
picture is taken from the
lesson “ THE LAKE OF
QUESTIONS ” on page
no. 95. When
Yudhishthira was about
to drink water from the
lake, a deep voice
boomed and said, “Do
not drink from this lake.
This is the lake of life,
you can only drink from
it only if you can answer
my question.”
PASSAGE MASTER
My favourite passage in the book is passage no. 5 on page
no. 97 from the lesson “The Lake of Questions”. In this
passage, a yaksha, the guardian spirit of the lake of
questions and a gruesome-looking creature appeared in
front of Yudhishthira and ordered him to answer the
questions of death and life, before Yudhishthira drink of
his waters. I liked this passage the most as the questions
asked about life and death are very motivational and true.
These questions make me change the outlook of my life
and in my opinion its very valuable to think about these
questions.
