OPENING PRAYER
Dear Lord, we come before You today with
thankful hearts. We thank You for the
opportunity to learn and grow in knowledge. As
we gather to study and explore the wonders of
language, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom.
Help us understand the importance of adverbs of
time and place, and give us the focus to apply
them well in our communication. May we be
patient with ourselves and with others, as we
learn together today. Bless our teacher and our
classmates, and may we all have a productive
and joyful lesson. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

going. Her friend replied cheerfully,
telling her about her new job and how
things were going smoothly. The
conversation flowed easily, as if no
time had passed since their last chat
Read the short story below and pay attention

Liam woke up early and ran outside to
play. He met his best friend at the park. They
played on the swings and laughed together.
Later, they went to Liam's house and ate lunch
in the kitchen. In the afternoon, they watched a
movie in the living room. When it was evening,
Liam said goodbye to his friend and went to
sleep happily.
