lifted by rigging equipment
 The grating should be protected from fall
before removing the lifting gear attached.

STACKING OF GRATING

Stacking of grating to the structure will


be discourage for the possibility of
falling from opening.
 Install at least four (4) grating first to
be used for stacking of grating.
 Storing of grating will not more than
the toe board and should be away from
the opening and railing
 Access should not be blocked by the
stored grating
 All tools, material and object should be
protected from falling
 As per procedure, stacking of grating
should be in a vertical position and
adequately secure on the elevated area

DURING INSTALLATION

Use proper tools to lift the grating and


never use the hook of lanyard for such
activity
 For fixing the gratings, all tools should
be tied-off
 All object should be on the bag or box
to avoid falling
 100% tie-off must be done all the time
After
No unauthorized entryboth
the installation, is allowed
