The aim of this research was to determine the opinions of WIUT students on the benefits and
challenges of computer-based examinations. (Restatement of the aim)Reflecting on the research
findings, it can be said that the WIUT students consider immediate results and trackable progress to
be the main benefits of CBEs, whilst the need for certain level of computer knowledge and
inconvenient insertion of mathematical symbols to be the major challenges. Despite the challenges,
the research participants claimed to have had positive experience with CBEs.(Major Findings)
Overall, the benefits and challenges mentioned above have been indicated as the key factors of
CBEs for students of WIUT. They, nevertheless, generally expressed positive feelings and opinions
about computer-based exams. (Answer to the RQ)

• They should include the action and the doer (who is in position to
implement it, it be an entity or a person).
• There may also be recommendations to continue a good practice.
• They must be realistic and feasible for implementation.
• Avoid vague or overly complex suggestions.
