to form a governing body. It is therefore, a government of the people, for
the people, and by the people.

them.

Transparency refers to the openness and accessibility of information about


government operations and decision-making processes. It means that
citizens have the right to know how public resources are being used, what
policies are being developed, and how decisions are being made.

This fundamental principle also reiterates that every citizen is subject to
the law, even the highest leader and the lawmakers as all the procedures
equally to all.
