Introduction
The Car Parking Scheduling System is a sophisticated solution
tailored for Indian malls to efficiently manage their parking facilities
while generating revenue. This system enables visitors to book
parking slots in advance, reducing congestion and ensuring hassle-
free parking experiences. By incorporating a vehicle-based charging
model (e.g., ₹30 for two-wheelers), the system becomes a
profitable avenue for mall management.
Objective
1. Organize Parking: Allow customers to book parking slots in
advance, ensuring proper use of parking spaces.
2. Make Parking Easy: Give visitors a simple way to find and reserve
parking spots.
3. Earn Revenue: Charge parking fees (e.g., ₹30 for two-wheelers) to
generate income for the mall.
4. Help Mall Management: Generate reports on parking usage and
earnings for better decision-making.
Problem Statement
• Managing parking spaces in busy Indian malls is often a challenging
task, leading to issues like overcrowding, unauthorized parking,
and inefficient use of available space. Visitors face difficulties in
finding parking spots, especially during peak hours, causing delays
and frustration. Additionally, malls miss out on potential revenue
opportunities due to the lack of an organized parking fee system.

Literature Survey
A literature survey provides an overview of existing research,
technologies, and systems related to the project.
1. Smart Parking Systems : Kumar (groups) (2019): Their research
outlines the use of IoT (Internet of Things) to monitor parking slot
availability and optimize parking space usage in urban
environments.
2. Token Generation and Validation : Patil (groups) (2018): Their
work investigates the use of QR codes and tokens as unique
identifiers for parking slots in malls and shopping centers.

3. Payment and Revenue Models : Sharma (groups) (2021): They
propose a hybrid payment system for smart parking, combining
online payment methods with mobile wallets.
4. Database Management in Parking Systems : Rajput (groups)
(2020): This study discusses the role of databases in parking
management systems, emphasizing the need for a centralized
system that stores user profiles, booking history, and payment
details.
