FIRE FIGHTING ROBOT

MAJOR PROJECT-VII

UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF

DR. KISHOR SAVARKAR
PROF. NAZAHAT BALUR
PROF.
INTRODUCTION
The goal of this project is to create a prototype that can move towards a fire source using sensors like
flame detectors or heat sensors, and then put out the fire using tools like a water spray or extinguisher.
The project involves learning about robotics, sensors, control systems, and fire safety. It also highlights
how technology can be used to assist firefighters in dangerous situations, reducing the risk to human
life.
OBJECTIVES
 Ensure firefighter safety
 Detect fires early
 Operate autonomously
 Improve firefighting efficiency
 Access confined spaces
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Design and develop an autonomous fire-fighting robot that can detect and extinguish fires in hazardous
or confined areas, reducing risks to human firefighters while improving response time and efficiency.
The robot should operate independently and navigate through complex environments to control fire
outbreaks at an early stage.
