This artwork best exemplifies Ocampo’s prismatic
style. The interest of the work lies mainly in its
numerous facets, like multiple crystalline prisms theat
capture light at different angles. At the center are
three sculptural forms in bright yellow at its highlights
which are flamelike in shape and oriented towards
each other. As flames they become symbols,
guardians of life and creativity, the Genesis of
creations in this web of ever-multiplying form.
FERNANDO AMORSOLO
Is one of the most important artist in the history of
painting in the Philippines. Amorsolo is best
known for his illuminated landscapes, which often
portrayed traditional Filipno custom, culture,
fiestas and occupations. Also known as the Rural
Landscape Artist.
