I. General Introduction to the System
- The solar power system at MSV factory is a load tracking system with a capacity of 594kWp, including 900
panels with each panels has capacity 660Wp and 5 inverters with each inverter has capacity 110kVA.
- Including 2 main electrical panel PV - MDB solar located at the inverter station and an MCCB panel located in
the Electric Room

=> The system will automatically measure the power consumption of the consumed load to generate an
electric capacity equal to the consumed load, without generating excess electricity and without pushing it
to the national grid.

Scope of maintenance and system maintenance
 Periodically, there will be a team in charge of inspecting the equipment to repair the damage or replace the
damaged equipment according to the regulations of the solar system maintenance and troubleshooting.
 In addition, the project manager can also unexpectedly inspect the work when the work is damaged due to
environmental influences and other factors causing sudden damage affecting the safety of use and operation of
equipment. of the project

Preparatory work for maintenance
 Make sure to isolate the inverter from the grid, the DC switches.

 Time of implementation: In the evening, the day is less sunny.

III.1. Periodic preventive maintenance and report.
Cleaning PV module

Frequency and implementation plan :

- Wash the PV module periodically at least once a month for the dry season and every 3 months for the rainy
season depending on how dirty the PV module surface is.
- The implementation plan must ensure the division of the sanitary area for each area, each PV module system
connected to each inverter. To ensure the performance of the system when cleaning the PV module.
- The process of washing PV module absolutely must not step on or walk on the PV module.
III.1. Periodic preventive maintenance and report.
Cleaning PV module
Electrical safety warning :
- Cleaning the PV module risks damage to the PV module and PV strings and increases the risk of
potential electric shock.
- Damaged PV modules can cause electrical leakage especially when wet. Therefore, to avoid the risk
of electric shock, before cleaning, it is necessary to carefully check whether the PV module has
cracked glass or loose connectors.
- The high voltage and current present on the PV String during the day is enough to cause a fatal
electric shock.
- The condition of the grounding system of the frame, bracket, and PV module must be checked
before starting to clean to prevent the risk of electric shock due to electric leakage from live parts of
the system.
- Wear suitable insulated boots and gloves when cleaning PV modules
General Instructions :
- It is allowed to use suitable cleaning agents such as glass cleaner, alcohol, ... in case of washing with
water but not clean
- It is recommended to clean the PV module during the early morning, evening, rainy or cloudy days
with low radiation (<200W/m2) to avoid thermal shock of the PV module.
- Do not use sharp tools and abrasive materials during PV module cleaning
- Do not spray water directly on MC4 connectors.
- Do not clean when detecting broken glass or damaged DC cable, loose connectors, short-circuit to
avoid the risk of electric shock. Repair or replacement must be carried out before continuing work.

III.3. Monthly report.
- Besides maintenance report, TT also sends to IREV monthly report to inform about system working
status and system PR.
- PR of system will be calculated based on data exported from monitoring system of Isolarcloud.
- The sample data exported from Isolarcloud will be 5 minutes data as below:
III.3. Monthly report.

- The data exported from Isolarcloud including:

- (kWh/m2) irradiance data measured by RT1 weather station.

- will be converted to by using the PVsyst report to define a simple linear transposition model from
horizontal to the PV module field orientation.
III.3. Monthly report.
- The theoretical Operation Time of a solar plant is the total time during which the plant receives enough
radiation to work. Insufficient radiation is defined as solar radiation in the plane of the array such that the
panels do not reach their minimum operating voltage and the inverter is not able to start (defined as
irradiance 50 to 70W/m2).
- Therefore, a limit of 50 to 70 W/m2 was defined for starting to compute the PR calculation in order to
eliminate the outputs in case of low irradiance, this irradiation level is also named the “Minimum
Irradiance Threshold”(MIT).
- Refer to “Technical Availability is defined in “SolarPower Europe O&M best practice guidelines version
4.0” and follow IEC TS 63019:2019” Page 76 Chapter 11/ Sub‐section 11.2.7. Technical Availability or
