What is Monitoring and Evaluation?

Monitoring: Regular and systematic tracking of


progress toward SIP objectives using data
collection tools like surveys, assessments, and
observation.
Evaluation: Periodic analysis of the collected
data to assess performance, identify areas for
improvement, and guide future planning.
The SIP shall contain the following elements:
