The Burj Khalifa was built between 2004 and 2010 in Dubai, United
History Arab Emirates. The idea behind this project was to show the world
the ambition and rapid development of the city. The construction
was led by the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, with
architect Adrian Smith and engineer Bill Baker. There were 12,000
workers
