Inauguration of AI & Robotics Lab
The state-of-the-art AI Lab was inaugurated by Mr. Vishal Badhshah,
CV Operations, Tata Motors, on 3rd March 2024.
This marks a significant step in fostering innovation and equipping
students with cutting-edge AI and robotics skills for a technology-
driven future.
Building the Foundations
The school collaborated with STEMROBO Technologies to set up a state-of-the-art AI
and Robotics Lab, featuring advanced tools like robotics kits and a 3D printer.
The club's journey kicked off with its first project: a hand gesture-controlled car, turning
innovation into reality.
Training and Empowerment
• Teacher training sessions were held to ensure they were equipped to guide students in this
evolving field.
• Student moderators were selected and trained to lead projects, bridging the gap between teachers
and club members.
• Parents were briefed about the uses of AI and robotics as a skill and parents showed genuine
interest in the club, with an instance of a parent sponsoring an event for IIT Bombay.

Collaboration and Inspiration
• To broaden horizons, the club collaborated with IIT Kharagpur, a leader in technology.
• Prof. Pal’s lecture on the future of AI and robotics inspired not just our students but
participants from other schools as well.
• This partnership reinforced the importance of learning from experts and connecting
classroom concepts to global trends.

Competition Successes and Skill Development
• The club gained recognition through its participation in 16 competitions,
and won the INSPIRE Awards (National) with the Gesture Controlled
car.
• These opportunities developed skills such as creativity, coding, teamwork,
problem-solving, and leadership.
• Our AI and Robotics Club shines at Asia's largest tech fest,
IIT Bombay TechFest, with four teams advancing to the
finals in Aero-Modelling, Boat-Race, and Blixathon!

IMPROVEMENTS FOR FUTURE
• Launching drone mapping and AI energy tools, expanding global
competition reach, and partnering with IIT Kharagpur for expert
mentorship.
• Introduction of robotics club for younger students (Classes 3-5).
• Teacher’s training by CISCE in January 2025.
