Cloud Computing
What is mean by Cloud Computing ?
• Cloud computing is the delivery of computing services like storage,
processing, and software over the internet, allowing users to access and
manage data remotely on a pay-as-you-go basis.
• Cloud computing means using the internet to access and use computing
services like servers, storage, and software instead of having them on your
own computer or network.
Type Of Cloud Computing
1. Public Cloud
2. Private Cloud
3. Hybrid Cloud
4. Community Cloud
5. Multi-Cloud
Public Cloud
A public cloud is like a big digital playground where anyone with internet access can go and
use services like storage space, software applications, and computing power
Private Cloud
A private cloud is like having your own special playground that only you and your friends can
use. It's a set of computer resources, like storage and software, that's just for your organization.
You control who gets to use it, and you can customize it however you want. It's like having your
own secret clubhouse where you make all the rules.
Hybrid Cloud
A hybrid cloud is like having two playgrounds connected by a secret tunnel. It's a mix of both
public and private clouds, allowing an organization to use a combination of resources from
both types of clouds.
Community Cloud
A community cloud is like having a shared playground just for a specific group of friends or
neighbors. It's a cloud computing environment where multiple organizations with similar
interests, like businesses in the same industry or government agencies, share computing
resources and infrastructure.
Multi Cloud
Multi-cloud is like having access to many different playgrounds all at once.
It's a cloud computing strategy where an organization uses services from multiple cloud
providers, like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
(GCP), instead of just relying on one.
Multi-cloud strategy offers flexibility, choice, risk management, and avoids vendor lock-in,
allowing organizations to make the most of the resources available in the cloud.
Service Models
• In the world of cloud computing, there are three different
approaches to cloud-based services:
• Infrastructure as a Service (laaS)
• Platform as a Service (PaaS)
• Software as a Service (SaaS)
1. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS):
IaaS provides virtualized computing resources over the internet.
It gives businesses the ability to rent IT infrastructure like servers,
storage, networking, and other resources without having to invest in physical
hardware.
2. Platform as a Service (PaaS):
PaaS provides a platform that allows developers to build, deploy, and
manage applications without dealing with the underlying infrastructure.
It abstracts much of the infrastructure management while providing
tools, libraries, and services for application development.
3. Software as a Service (SaaS):
SaaS delivers software applications over the internet on a subscription
basis.
The software is hosted, managed, and maintained by the service
provider, and users access it via a web browser or client.
