What is E-Commerce?
Def.1: Electronic Commerce is an emerging
concept that describes the process of buying and
selling or exchanging of products, services and
information via computer networking including
the internet.
Def.3: The process of exchanging goods,
services and information on the internet is
called E-Commerce.

Def.2: E-Commerce is the process of


buying and selling of goods and
services through any electronic devices.
World Wide Web is the main source of E-
Commerce.
What is E-Business?
Def.E –Business is a super set of
E-Commerce E-Business is a term
used to describe business run on
the internet. To sell online is E-
Commerce but to bring and retain
customers and educate them
online about the product or
service is E-Business.
Explain Types of E-Commerce?
There are different kinds of E-
Commerce.
i) Business-to-Business (B2B or B-to-
B)
ii) Business-to-Consumer (B2C) or B-
to-C
iii) Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) or C-
to-C
