REVELATIONS

REVELATION 1: Introduction And

Benediction:
• It is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His
servants, things that must shortly take place. He sends and signifies it by
His Angel to His servant John, who bears witness to the word of God, to
the testimony of Jesus, to all things that he saw.

• Revelation 1:3 : “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words
of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the
time is near.”
Greeting To The Seven Churches:

• John greets the 7 Churches in Asia saying “Grace to you

and peace from Him (God, the Father) who is and who
was and who is to come, and from the 7 spirits who are
before His throne, and from Jesus Christ..”
Greeting To The Seven Churches:

• He says that Jesus is the faithful Witness and the firstborn from the dead, and that
He loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood and made us kings and
priests to His God and Father. John proclaims glory and dominion to be His. John
says that Jesus is coming with clouds and every eye would see Him even those that
pierced Him and all the tribes of the earth would mourn because of Him.

• In Revelation 1:8: He says that the Lord proclaims that He is the Alpha and the
Omega, the Beginning and the End.
Vision Of The Son Of Man:

• John, who was a companion and brother in tribulation and kingdom and
patience of Jesus Christ, to the 7 Churches, was on the island of Patmos for
the word of God and testimony of Jesus Christ. He was in the Spirit on the
Lord’s Day, and he heard behind him a loud voice as that of a trumpet, saying
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last” and, It told John to
write what he saw in a book and send it to the 7 Churches which were in Asia:
to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and to
Laedicea.
Vision Of The Son Of Man: The glorified body of Christ.

• He turned to see 7 golden lampstands and in the midst of the 7 lampstands

stood One like the Son of Man (Jesus Christ), clothed with a garment down
to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair
were white like wool, as white as snow and His eyes like the flame of fire.
His feet were like fine brass and His voice like the sound of many waters.
He had in His right hand 7 stars and a sharp two edged sword went out of
His mouth. His countenance is described as the sun shining in its strength.
Vision Of The Son Of Man:

• When John saw Him, he felt at His feet as dead. But He laid His right
hand on John and told Him not to be afraid (17) and that He was the
First and Last. (18) He says that He lives and was dead and is alive
forevermore (Amen). He says that He has the keys of Hades and death.
He asks John to write the things that he’d seen and the things that are
and would take place after that.
Vision Of The Son Of Man:

• The mystery of the 7 stars and 7 golden lampstands:

the 7 stars symbolized the Angels of the 7 Churches
and the 7 lampstands represented the 7 Churches.
REVELATION 2: The Loveless Church:
Ephesus.
• The letter is written to the Angel of the Church of Ephesus by the
words of Jesus who holds the seven stars and in His right hand who
walks in the midst of the seven golden lamps.

• He says that He knows their labor, their patience and that they can’t
withstand evil and that they’ve tested the people who were not
apostles and found them to be liars.
The Loveless Church: Ephesus.

• They had persevered and labored for Jesus’ sake and hadn’t become
weary.

• Nonetheless, Jesus was against them losing their first love.

• Jesus warns them to remember and repent and do the first works
unless He comes and quickly removes the lampstand from its place-
unless they repent.
The Loveless Church: Ephesus.

• He proclaims that He hates and the Church hates the works of

Nicolaitans.

• He tells them who have ears to hear that to him who

overcomes, He’d give to eat from the tree of life which is in
the midst of the Paradise of God.
The Persecuted Church: Smyrna.

• Written to the Angel of the Church in Smyrna by the words of the First
and Last, who once was dead and came back to life.

• Jesus says that He knows their works, tribulations and poverty in

wealth and rich in faith and the blasphemy of those who say that
they’re of the Jews but were not and are a part of Satan’s synagogue.
The Persecuted Church: Smyrna.

• Jesus commands them not to fear any of the things which they were
about to suffer and the devil would throw some of them into prison to
test them and that they’d have tribulation 10 days. He commands them
to be faithful until death and He’d give them the crown of life.

• He says that the one who overcomes wouldn’t be affected by the

second death.
The Compromising Church: Pergamos.

• Written to the angel of Pergamos by Jesus, who has sharp two edged
sword.

• He says He knows their works, where they dwelt, where Satan’s

throne was and they held fast to Jesus’ Name and didn’t deny His faith
even in the days of Antipas, His faithful martyr.

• But He had a few things against them.

The Compromising Church: Pergamos.

• That they had the doctrines of Balaam who taught Balak to put a
stumbling block before Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to
commit sexual immorality.

• They also had the doctrines of Nicolaitans which He hated.

• He warns them to repent quickly or else He’d come and fight against
them with the sword of His mouth.
The Compromising Church: Pergamos.

• And to him who overcomes He’d give some

hidden manna to eat, and He’d give him a white
stone and on the stone a new name would be
written which no one would know except for that
person.
The Corrupt Church: Thyatira.

• Written to the angel of the Church in Thyatira by the words of Him

who has eyes like a flame of fire and His feet like fine brass and is the
Son of God.

• Jesus says that He’s aware of their works, service, love, faith and
patience and as for their works, the last are more than the first.

• Nonetheless Jesus had a few things against them.

The Corrupt Church: Thyatira.

• They let a woman, Jezebel, who called herself a prophetess and

seduced His servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things
sacrificed to idols.

• He says that He would cast her into a sickbed and those who commit
adultery with her into tribulations unless they repent and have
remission of their sins.
The Corrupt Church: Thyatira.

• He says He’d kill her children with death and all the Churches would
know that He searches hearts and minds and give each one according
to their deeds.

• He says to the rest in Thyatira, as many as didn’t know that doctrine as

they say, He’d put on them no more burden.

• He commands them to hold fast till He comes.

The Corrupt Church: Thyatira.
• And to he who overcomes and keeps His word, He would give power
over nations “He shall rule them with a rod of iron, They shall be
dashed to be pieces like a potter’s vessels” – as He also had received
from His Father.

• He’d give him the morning star.

• He warns them who have ears to hear what the Spirit says to the
Church.
REVELATION 3: The Dead Church:
Sardis.
• Written to the angel of the Church of Sardis by the words of Him who has
the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars.

• Jesus says that He knows their work and that they had a name that they were
alive but were actually dead.

• He commands them to be watchful and strengthen the things that remained

that were ready to die, for He hadn’t found their works to be perfect in
God’s sight.
The Dead Church: Sardis.

• He warns them to remember how they’d received and heard; to

hold fast and repent. If they don’t watch, He says He’d come
upon them as a thief does and they wouldn’t know.

• He says they had a few names even in Sardis who hadn’t

defiled their garments and they’d walk in white with Him for
they were worthy.
The Dead Church: Sardis.

• For the one who overcomes, He’d cloth them in

white garments and He wouldn’t blot out their
names from the Book of Life; but that He’d
confess their names before His Father and before
His Angels.
The Faithful Church: Philadelphia.
• Written to the angel of Philadelphia by the words of Him who’s holy and true,
who has the keys of David; He who opens and no one shuts and He who shuts
and no one opens.

• Jesus says He’s aware of their works and that He sets before them an open door
and no one could shut it; for they’d little strength, hadn’t denied His Name and
had kept His Word.

• He says He’d make those of the synagogue of Satan, who said they were Jews
but weren’t but lied that He’d make them come and worship at their feet and to
know that Jesus had loved them.
The Faithful Church: Philadelphia.

• Because they’d kept His command to persevere, He also would

Keep them from the hour of trial which should come upon the
whole world to test the people of the world.

• He tells them to behold Him coming, He commands them to

hold fast what they got, that no one would take away their
crowns.
The Faithful Church: Philadelphia.

• To him who overcomes, He’d make him a pillar in the

temple of His God and he should go out no more. He’d
write on him the name of His God and the name of the city
of His God, the New Jerusalem, which came down from
heaven from God and He’d write on him a new name.
The Lukewarm Church: Laodiceans.

• Written to the angel of the church of Laodiceans by the words of the

Amen, the Faith and True Witness and the Beginning of the creation of
God.

• Jesus says that He knows their work and that they were neither cold
nor hot and that He could wish they were either hot or cold and that
they were lukewarm and He’d vomit them out of His mouth.
The Lukewarm Church: Laodiceans.

• Because they said they were rich, had become wealthy and had need of
nothing and do not know that they were miserable, naked, wretched,
blind and poor.

• He counsels them to buy from Him gold refined in fire that they could be
rich and white garments that they could be clothed, that the shame of their
nakedness isn’t revealed and anoint their eye salve that they might see.
The Lukewarm Church: Laodiceans.

• As many as Jesus loved, He rebuked and chasten. He tells

them to be zealous therefore and repent.

• He warns them to behold that He stands at the door and

knock, if anyone heard His voice and opened the door, He’d
go in and dine with him and he with Him.
The Lukewarm Church: Laodiceans.

• To him who overcomes, He’d grant him to

sit with Him on His throne, as He’d also
overcome and sat down with His Father on
His throne.
REVELATION 4: The Throne Room of the Heaven.

• After these things, John looked and saw a door standing open in
heaven.

• He heard the first voice speak like a trumpet, saying “come up here
and I will show you the things that must take place after this”.

• Instantly he was in the Spirit and looked at a throne and saw One sit
on it.
The Throne Room of the Heaven.

• The One that sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in
appearance, there was a rainbow around the throne in
appearance like an emerald.

• Around that throne, there were 24 other thrones in which sat 24

elders in white robes all of them who had a gold crown on their
heads.
The Throne Room of the Heaven.

• And from the throne, proceeded lightnings, thunderings and

voices. 7 lamps of fire were burning before God which were
the 7 spirits of God.

• Before the throne, there was a sea of glass like crystal. And in
the midst of and around the throne, stood 4 creatures with eyes
on either sides.
The Throne Room of the Heaven.

• The 1st creature: Lion.

• 2nd creature: calf.

• 3rd creature: had a face like a man.

• 4th creature: flying eagle.

• The 4 creatures each had 6 wings, were full of eyes around and within. They
didn’t rest day or night, saying “holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who
was and who is and is to come”
The Throne Room of the Heaven.

• Whenever the creatures gave glory and honor and thanks to God, they
24 elders fell down before Him and worshipped Him and would cast
their crowns before the throne.

• Saying “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and
power. For You created all things, and by Your word will they exist
and were created.”
REVELATION 5: The Lamb Takes The Scroll.
• John sees on the right hand of God, the Father, a scroll sealed with 7
seals.

• He sees a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice “who is worthy

to open the scroll and to loose its seals?”

• No one on earth or heaven or under the earth were ready to open it or

even see it.

• John weeps seeing that no one was worthy.

The Lamb Takes The Scroll.

• He hears one of the elders saying to him “do not weep, behold the
Lion of Judah, the Root of David has prevailed to open the scroll and
to loose its 7 seals.”

• He looked and saw in the midst of the throne and 4 creatures stood a
Lamb that had been slain that had 7 horns and 7 eyes – 7 spirits of
God.

• He looks as Jesus takes the scroll out of the Father’s hand and opens it.
Worthy is the Lamb.
• When Jesus had taken the scroll, the 4 creatures and 24 elders fell down
before Him each having a harp and a golden bowl of incense which is
the prayer of the saints.

• They sing a new song “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open
its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your
blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have
made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”
Worthy is the Lamb.
• John sees that the number of elders and living creatures were 10000 times 10000,
1000s of 1000s.

• They sang: Worthy is the Lamb who was slain. To receive power and riches and
wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing.

• He saw that all the creatures of the world sang: “Blessing and honor and glory and
power, Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”

• The 4 creatures said “Amen!” to it and the elders worshipped Him.

REVELATION 6: The First Seal: The
Conqueror.

• When Jesus opened the 1st seal, John hears one of the 4
creatures say with a thundering voice to come and see.

• When he saw, a white horse was. He who sat on it had

a bow and a crown was given to him and he went out
conquering to conquer.
The Second Seal: Conflict on Earth.

• When Jesus opened the 2nd seal, the 2nd living creature told
John to come and see.

• He saw another horse, fiery red, went out. The one who sat
on it was granted to take peace from earth and that people
should kill one another, he was given a great sword.
Scarcity On Earth: Third Seal.
• When Jesus opened the third seal John heard the third living
creature say come and see he looked when he saw black
horse and the one that sat on it had a pair of scales in his
hand. He heard the voice of one of the four living creatures
say "a quart of wheat for a denarius and 3 quarts of Barley for
denarius and do not harm the oil and wine."
Fourth Seal: Widespread Death On Earth.

• When Jesus open the fourth seal John heard the voice of the
fourth living creature say come and see he looked a pale horse
and the name of him who sat on it was Death and Hades
followed with him and power was given to them over a fourth
of the earth to kill with sword with hunger with death and by
the beasts of the earth.
Fifth Seal: The Cry Of The Martyrs.

• When Jesus opened the 5th seal, John sees under the altar the
souls of the martyrs who cried with a loud voice how long till
God judge to avenge their blood on their persecutors. Then a
white robe was given to all of them and they were told to
wait a little bit longer until their brethren were killed in the
same manner.
The Sixth Seal: Cosmic Disturbances.
• When Jesus opened the 6th seal, there was a great earthquake, the sun became
black and the moon became like blood. The stars of the heaven fell to the
earth. The sky receded like a scroll rolled up, the mountains and islands were
moved out of their places.

• The kings of the earth, the mighty men, the slave and free hid themselves in
caves and in the rocks of the mountains. They said to the mountains to fall on
them and hide them from the wrath of the Lamb and Him who sits on the
Throne, for the great day of His wrath had come which no one could stand.
REVELATION 7: The Sealed of Israel.

• Then John saw 4 angels standing at the 4 corners of the earth, holding the
4 winds that the wind shouldn’t blow on the earth. He sees another angel
ascending from the east having the seal of God, crying out to the 4 angels,
telling them not to harm the earth and sea till they’d sealed the servants of
God. 144,000 people were sealed of the children of Israel. From each of
the tribes (Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi,
Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin) 12,000 people were sealed.
A Multitude From Great Tribulation.
• Then he saw a very great multitude, innumerable and from all
nations standing before the throne and the Lamb clothed with
white robes and palm branches in their hands crying out
“salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the
Lamb”. The Angels who stood before the throne, the 24 elders
and the 4 living creatures fell down and worshipped Him.
A Multitude From Great Tribulation.

•They sang: “Amen! Blessing and glory

and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor
and power and might, Be to our God
forever and ever. Amen.”
A Multitude From Great Tribulation.
• Then one of the elders questioned John about who the ones in the white
robes were. John says that he (the elder) knows. The elder then says to
him that those were the ones who came out of great tribulation and
washed their robes and made them white in the Lamb’s blood. And now
they are before the throne serving God and He dwells among them and
they’d never hunger or thirst, the sun wouldn’t scorch them and they’d
be led to the living fountains of water by their Shepherd, Jesus. And
every tear of their eye would be wiped away from by Jesus.
REVELATION 8: The Seventh Seal: Prelude To The Seven
Trumpets.
• When Jesus opened the 7th seal there was silence in heaven about ½ an hour. John
sees 7 angels who stood before God and had 7 trumpets. He sees another angel
having a golden censer came and stood at the altar, to him was given much
incense that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints who stood upon
the golden altar. The smoke of the incense and the prayers of the saints ascended
to God. Then the angel took the censer filled it with fire from altar and threw it to
the earth and there were noises, thunderings, lightnings and earthquakes. Then
the 7 angels prepared to sound their trumpets.
First Trumpet: Vegetation
Struck.
• The First Angel sounded the trumpet, hail and
fire followed to earth, a third of the trees were
burned up and the all green grass burned up.
Second Trumpet: The Seas Struck.

• When the 2nd angel sounded the trumpet,

something like a great mountain filled with fire
was thrown into the sea and the 3rd of it turned
bloody. The 3rd of the living creatures on the sea
died and a 3rd of the ships were destroyed.
Third Trumpet: The Waters Struck.

• The 3rd angel sounded and a huge star burning like a

torch fell from heaven to a 3rd of the rivers and all
springs of waters. The star was called Wormwood and
ta 3rd of the waters became wormwood and turned
bitter so many died of drinking bitter water.
Fourth Trumpet: The Heavens Struck.

• When the 4th Angel sounded the trumpet, a 3rd of the sun was
struck, a 3rd of the stars and a 3rd of the moon were struck, so the
3rd of the day didn’t shine likewise the night. They were darkened.

• He hears an angel crying out with a loud voice, proclaiming woe

to the inhabitants of the earth because of the remaining blasts of
the other 3 angels who were about to sound their trumpets.
Fifth Trumpet: Locusts From The Bottomless Pit.

• The 5th angels sounded and a star fallen from heaven was seen, to him
was given the key of the bottomless pit out of which smoke cam, that
darkened the sun and air. Out of the smoke came locust and to them was
given the power of scorpions on earth. They were commanded not to
harm any green thing (grass, trees) but to harm those who didn’t have the
seal of God on their foreheads. They were given authority to torment
them only for 5 months, although their torment was as that of a scorpion.
Fifth Trumpet: Locusts From The Bottomless Pit.
• He says in those days, men would seek death and wouldn’t find it, death
would flee from them.

• The shape of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle, on their
heads were something like gold and their faces were like that of men.
They’d breastplates like that of iron and their wings made sounds like
chariots of horses. They’d tail like scorpions that had power to sting.
Their king was the angel of the bottomless pit and his name in Hebrew -
Abaddon and in Greek - Apollyon.
The Sixth Trumpet: The Angels From The Euphrates.

• The 6th angel sounded the trumpet, John then hears a voice for the 4
horns of the golden altar before the throne of God, saying to the 6 th
angel to release the 4 angels at the great Euphrates. They were waiting
for that hour, and were released to kill a 3rd of the mankind.
200,000,000 was the number of the army of horsemen. They had
breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue and sulfur yellow, the head of
the horses were like heads of lions and out of their mouth came fire,
smoke and brimstone- by these plagues a 3rd of the mankind was killed.
The Sixth Trumpet: The Angels From The
Euphrates.
• Their power was in their mouths and tails like serpents
having heads, with them they do no harm. But those
who remained didn’t repent of their idolatry, sexual
immorality, murders, sorceries and thefts.
REVELATION 10: The Mighty Angel With The Little Book.
• John sees still another Angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud.
A rainbow on his head, his face like a sun, his feet like pillars of fire. He had a
little book open on his hand, He put His right leg on sea and left one on land.
He cried out, 7 thunders uttered their voices. He was about to write but he heard
a voice from heaven to seal up the voices and not write. The angel raised up his
hand to heaven and swore by the Creator that there shouldn’t be anymore delay.
But in the days of the 7th angel, when he’s about to sound, God’s mystery
would’ve been done as He declared to His servants, the prophets.
John Eats The Little Book.

• John hears the voice from heaven again commanding him to

take the book out of the angel’s hand. He asks for the book to
the angel who tells him to eat it saying that it’ll be sweet as
honey but it’d be bitter in his stomach, it happened just as he
said. He tells John that he must prophesy again about many
peoples, nations, tongues and kings.
