Time Travel and Wormholes: Could it Exist?

By I. A. Shaheen
Introduction to Time Travel
● Time travel has been a most popular topic depicted over the centuries.

● According to some scientists, this once crazy idea may be not as so far-fetched as it sounds.

● The theory of time travel may not be altogether nonexistent and can be proved through examples

of daily time travel, wormholes, and how time travel might be accomplished.
Examples of Daily Time
Travel
● Everything we know is constantly moving forward on our timeline.

● The law of entropy states that since there are so many more ways for something

to move into chaos than in order, things tend to move towards chaos.

● This may explain why time moves forward.

● We have yet to overcome this law.

Wormholes ● Wormholes occur when negative energy warps

space-time, the fabric of the universe, into a

wormhole.

● In a wormhole, you may travel through space and

time easily.

● The distance inside of a wormhole need not be

relevant to the actual distance.

● Einstein’s law of relativity actually allows these

phenomenon to exist and may have formed at the

event of the Big Bang.

starting.
How it might be accomplished
● There are many possible theories about how time travel might be done.

● The event horizon, the center of a black hole, has such a strong gravitational pull that it is theorized to be able to pull you back in time.

● Travelling faster than light is also a possibility, because the faster you go, the slower time moves around you, so you could imagine that

eventually you would slow time down so severely that you would move backwards in time.

● The last one is a wormhole; this theory is pretty self-explanatory.

Conclusion
● Overall, time travel is considered possible by many experts, Stephen Hawking & Albert Einstein among them.

● Black holes, lightspeed, and wormholes are all possibilities.

● Time travel is constantly under debate and I would like to explain to all the people out there that the possibility for time travel still exists.
