Social Spaces
Defined as a physical or virtual space which members of
the community visit or where they stay. Ex: social center,
online social media, or other gathering spaces where people
gather and interact.
Some social spaces are owned by the government, such
as town squares, parks, and beaches These spaces are
generally open and accessible to people.
Private social spaces are owned and regulated regularly,
such as shopping malls. These spaces may be used by
community residents for their gathering or simple recreation
activities.
