Blessed Hope

Silent
Prayer
I Am Thine, O
Lord
I am Thine, O Lord, I have
heard Thy voice,
And it told Thy love to
me;
But I long to rise in the
arms of faith,
And be closer drawn to
Draw me nearer, nearer,
blessed Lord,
To the cross where Thou
hast died;
Draw me nearer, nearer,
nearer, blessed Lord,
To Thy precious,
bleeding side.
Consecrate me now to Thy
service, Lord,
By the pow’r of grace
divine;
Let my soul look up with a
steadfast hope,
And my will be lost in
Thine.
Draw me nearer, nearer,
blessed Lord,
To the cross where Thou
hast died;
Draw me nearer, nearer,
nearer, blessed Lord,
To Thy precious,
bleeding side.
O the pure delight of a
single hour
That before Thy throne I
spend,
When I kneel in prayer,
and with Thee, my God,
I commune as friend with
friend!
Draw me nearer, nearer,
blessed Lord,
To the cross where Thou
hast died;
Draw me nearer, nearer,
nearer, blessed Lord,
To Thy precious,
bleeding side.
There are depths of love that
I yet may know
Ere Thee face to face I see;
There are heights of joy that
I yet may reach
Ere I rest in peace with
Thee.
Trust and
Obey
When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our
way;
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust
and obey.
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
Not a shadow can rise,
Not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly
drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear,
Not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust
and obey.
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
Not a burden we bear,
Not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly
repay;
Not a grief or a loss,
Not a frown or a cross,
But is blest if we trust and
obey.
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
Then in fellowship sweet
We will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in
the way;
What He says we will do;
Where He sends, we will
go,
Never fear, only trust and
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.

Scripture
Reading
Isaiah 65:1-25
Blessed Be
the Name
All praise to Him who reigns
above
In majesty supreme,
Who gave His Son for man to
die,
That He might man redeem!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name of
the Lord!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name of
the Lord!
His name above all names
shall stand,
Exalted more and more,
At God the Father’s own right
hand,
Where angel hosts adore.
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name of
the Lord!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name of
the Lord!
Redeemer, Savior, friend of
man
Once ruined by the fall,
Thou hast devised salvation’s
plan,
For Thou hast died for all.
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name of
the Lord!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name of
the Lord!
His name shall be the
Counselor,
The mighty Prince of Peace,
Of all earth’s kingdoms
conqueror,
Whose reign shall never
cease.
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name of the
Lord!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name!
Blessed be the name of the
Lord!

Leaning on
the
Everlasting
Arms
What a fellowship, what a joy
divine,
Leaning on the Everlasting
Arms!
What a blessedness, what a
peace is mine,
Leaning on the Everlasting
Arms!
Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all
alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the
Everlasting Arms.
O how sweet to walk in this
pilgrim way,
Leaning on the Everlasting
Arms!
O how bright the path grows
from day to day,
Leaning on the Everlasting
Arms!
Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all
alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the
Everlasting Arms.
What have I to dread, what
have I to fear,
Leaning on the Everlasting
Arms!
I have peace complete with
my Lord so near,
Leaning on the Everlasting
Arms!
Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all
alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the
Everlasting Arms.

Philippians
4:11-12
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have
learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be
content. I know both how to be abased, and I
know how to abound: every where and in all
things I am instructed both to be full and to be

Philippians

Contentment
Philippians 4:11-12

Contentment is the attitude of gratitude,

a virtue that keeps us grounded in life
and appreciative of what we have. It is
learning to be at peace with our
circumstances, regardless of the highs
and lows.
Contentment
Philippians 4:11-12
1. Contentment Involves Being
Grateful for What One Has
Contentment starts with a grateful heart,
acknowledging and thanking God for His blessings.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In every thing give thanks:

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning
you.
Contentment
Philippians 4:11-12

2. Contentment Involves Appreciating

the Blessings in Life
It's recognizing and valuing the good
things God has already provided, focusing
on the positives rather than dwelling on
what is lacking.
Contentment
Philippians 4:11-12
3. Contentment Involves Being Satisfied
with One's Circumstances
Contentment means finding peace in whatever life
brings, whether in abundance or need.
Proverbs 30:8 - Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with
food convenient for me.
Contentment
Philippians 4:11-12

4. Contentment Involves Trusting in

God's Provision
True contentment comes from trusting that God
will supply all our needs and learning to rely on
Him.
Philippians 4:11-13 - Not that I speak in respect of
want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I
am, therewith to be content... I can do all things
through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Jesus Paid It
All
I hear the Savior say,
"Thy strength indeed is
small,
Child of weakness, watch
and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all."
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson
stain,
He washed it white as
snow.
Lord, now indeed I find
Thy pow'r and Thine
alone,
Can change the leper's
spots
And melt the heart of
stone.
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson
stain,
He washed it white as
snow.
For nothing good have I
Where-by Thy grace to
claim;
I'll wash my garments
white
In the blood of Calv'ry's
Lamb.
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson
stain,
He washed it white as
snow.
And when, before the
throne,
I stand in Him complete,
"Jesus died my soul to
save,"
My lips shall still repeat.
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson
stain,
He washed it white as
snow.
