INTRODUCTION
• Cloud computing is the delivery of different
services through the internet. These resources
include tools and applications like data storages,
servers, databases, networking and software.
• Rather than keeping files on proprietary hard
drive or local storage device, cloud-based
storage makes it possible to save them to a
remote database. As long as an electronic
devices has access to the web, it has access to
the data and the software programs.
• Cloud computing is a popular option for people
and businesses for a number of reasons
including cost savings, increased productivity,
speed and efficiency, performance, and security.
Convenience: Cloud computing makes storing, retrieving
and sharing information fast and easy.
Flexibility: Because information flows across locations and
ADVANTAGES devices, employees can work safely and securely form
anywhere. That makes them more productive, collaborative,
OF CLOUD and satisfied in their jobs.
COMPUTING
Cost: At the core of cloud computing is the idea of
“multitenancy.” That means a single cloud service provider
has many customers using the same computing resources.
Its like an apartment building: Although residents share
amenities and infrastructure-not to mention common walls,
vents, and plumbing- everyone is free to decorate their own
apartment as they see fit.
Accounting: Cloud computing is beneficial from an
accounting standpoint because it allows IT
infrastructure to be classified as an operational
instead of capital expenditure. It translates to more
flexibility.
Reliability: Cloud service provides continually refine
their architecture to deliver the highest standards of
performance and availability. Meanwhile, the third
parties that host their services constantly maintain
and update them and provide easy access to
customer support.
Scalability: Cloud vendors generally allow customers
to increase or decrease computing resources as
needed. You can add or subtract bandwidth, users,
and services and even add more services providers.
