Bio
Dr. Safaa Thabet is an educator with 12 years of experience in Educational Administration and 18 years in the field of education in Egypt and
Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Safaa is a PhD holder who started her career as a Researcher in Molecular Biology before shifting to the field of education.
Dr. Safaa started as a Science teacher, Academic Vice Principal and School Principal, she is currently working as a Change Management
Director.
Dr. Safaa is earning Educational Leadership Diploma- AUC; she is a certified External Review Team Leader for Congnia Quality Assurance,
certified in ELEOT 1.0 and 2.0 (Effective Learning Environment Observation Tool), certified to use Kagan (cooperative learning strategies).
She also has certificates in Classroom management and communicative Math and Science teaching from Colorado University, PBL (Project
Based Learning), and Tools of Assessment from Eduline, California University, Finance for the non-Financials, and KPIs workshops from
Leaders Academy-SHRM
As a leader, she believes solid teams are built through motivation and inspiration with concise managerial decisions, and through facilitating
the communication between the academic and operational departments for a better agile performance.
Dr. Safaa focuses mainly on students' performance and achievements while enriching them with co and extracurricular activities.
One of the most important aims is to graduate a student with a righteous set of morals as well as high quality education.
She lives in New Cairo with her husband, three sons and one daughter.

•S: specific: improve the performance of learners and teachers
•M: Measurable: 1-analyzing the growth in performance for the core subjects using results of GL, MAP
and IXL, Checkpoint, IG results, AP, and IB.
• 2-Analyzing the results of the class observation forms (ELEOT,EREL and TOT) to assign
differentiated PD plan for teachers, co-teachers, and HODs.
• 3- Analyzing the results of all internal exams created by the HODs.
• 4-Generate a monthly report about the performance of the support program.
• 5-Plan for field trips that empower the students’ sense of identity.
• 6-Conduct class visits for the Rel. teachers.

•KPIs for HOD:
•Monitoring, assisting, and evaluating effective instruction and assessment practices through:
1. Following up the curriculum map of teachers and any subjects’ integrations (STEM)-5%
2. Assigning differentiated PD sessions to teachers- 5%
3. Put exams of all grades as per the question banks provided by the teachers. 5%
4. Follow up the activities on digital platforms including the LMS and accuracy of grades on SIS. 5%
5. Follow up the teachers’ correction of books and copybooks using the attached form.5%
6. Monitor the students, performance and progress using the standardized exams such as Map and GL, in addition to the
internal exams analysis. 20% (Average of all teachers)
7. Internal exams performance is calculated using the class percentage formula: Actual results/ Expected results multiplied by
100.
8. Following up the support programs of the below average students.10%
9. Plan with teachers for events/field trips relative to the department. 5%
10. Conduct a weekly meeting with teachers and co-teachers to discuss the students’ performance and any departmental dates
and tasks. 5%
11. Visit all classes at least once per term using the EREL/ ELEOT and TOT and give teachers feedback within 24 hr., the visit
must be documented and shared with the teachers to add their comments.
12. Scheduling peer visits for teachers and co-teachers- 5%
13. Attend targeted PD assigned by the school principal/Academic Director-5%
