WHY CHRISTMAS IS CELEBRATED?
Christmas is celebrated to commemorate
the birth of Jesus Christ, it is observed on
December 25th every year.
It is celebrated as a cultural and religious
festival by billions of people around the
globe to remember the birth of Jesus
Christ.
It spreads goodness, joy, and happiness
among people in today’s competitive,
stressful, and gloomy world.
HOW CHRISTMAS IS CELEBRATED?
The Christmas holiday is a time to be close
to your family and friends. A break from a
present hectic world.
Exchange of gifts and cards with loved ones
is the most common way to celebrate.
Christmas dinner with your family,
Christmas carols in public, decorating X-mas
trees with beautiful ornaments.
People attend church to worship Jesus and
pray for a healthy, wealthy, and joyful New
Year to their family, friends, relatives, and
neighbours.
SANTA CLAUS
Christmas is incomplete without Santa Claus. He
is a legendary figure who is said to bring gifts
during the overnight hours on Christmas Eve.
He has a whole army of elves, who make toys in
his North Pole workshop and delivers those gifts
with the aid of flying reindeer who pull his sleigh
through the air.
He only gives gifts to those children who behave
nicely the whole year and the ones who are
naughty don’t receive anything.
In many public places it is common to see people
dressed like Santa Claus and giving chocolates to
children
