TELEVISONS

• The LG SL9000 was one of several new Borderless HDTV's advertised for
release at IFA Berlin in 2009.[26] LG Electronics launched an OLED TV
in 2013 and 65-inch and 77-inch sizes in 2014.[27][28] LG Electronics
introduced its first Internet TV in 2007, originally branded as "NetCast
Entertainment Access" devices. They later renamed the 2011 Internet
televisions to "LG Smart TV" when more interactive television features
were added, that enable the audience to receive information from the
Internet while watching conventional TV programming.
HOME THEATER SYSTEMS

• are home entertainment audio-visual systems that seek to reproduce a

movie theater experience and mood using consumer electronics-grade
video and audio equipment that is set up in a room or backyard of a private
home. Some studies show films are rated better and generate more intense
emotions when watched in a movie theater,[1] however, convenience is a
major appeal for home cinemas.[2] In the 1980s, home cinemas typically
consisted of a movie pre-recorded on a LaserDisc or VHS tape; a
LaserDisc or VHS player; and a heavy, bulky large-screen cathode ray tube
TV set, although sometimes CRT projectors were used instead.
REFRIGERATORS

• By the late 1990s and the early 2000s, the idea of connecting
home appliances to the internet (Internet of Things) had been
popularized and was seen as the next big thing.[citation needed]
In June 2000, LG launched the world's first internet refrigerator,
the Internet Digital DIOS. This refrigerator was an unsuccessful
product because the consumers had seen it as unnecessary and
expensive (more than $20,000).
WASHING MACHINES

• is a home appliance used to wash laundry. The term is mostly

applied to machines that use water as opposed to dry cleaning
(which uses alternative cleaning fluids and is performed by
specialist businesses) or ultrasonic cleaners. The user adds
laundry detergent, which is sold in liquid or powder form, to the
wash water.
WEARABLE DEVICES

• are smart electronic devices (electronic device with micro-

controllers) that are worn close to and/or on the surface of the
skin, where they detect, analyze, and transmit information
concerning e.g. body signals such as vital signs, and/or ambient
data and which allow in some cases immediate biofeedback to
the wearer
WORKERS IN LG ELECTRONICS

• As of 2019, LG Electronics employed nearly forty

thousand people, with over a quarter of them in the
home appliances and air solutions (H&A) division. In
the same year, the global revenue of LG Electronics
amounted to 56.5 trillion South Korean won, about
55.76 billion U.S. dollars.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND AWARDS

• LG Electronics (LG) took home the most CES®

awards ever at the 2021 all-digital event – a pivotal
moment in history for the technology industry – earning
more than 190 honors across its home appliance, home
entertainment, IT and mobile categories.
CONCLUSIONS

• LG Electronics pursues its 21st century vision of becoming a

true global digital leader who can make its customers worldwide
happy through its innovative digital products and services. LG
Electronics sets its ultimate vision to rank among the top 3
global companies in electronics, information, and
telecommunication firms in the world by 2010.
LG embraces the philosophy of “Great Company,
Great People,” where as only great people can
create a great company, and pursue two growth
strategies involving “fast innovation” and “fast
growth.” They seek to find their three core
capabilities: product leadership, market leadership,
and people-centered leadership. LG Electronics
has essentially built their company into a
battleship, conquering their business strategy and
technological operations. They have built an
exceptionally strong foundation for future growth
and promise.
