impacts can help explain why people choose to live near the
volcano.

of volcanic materials which ultimately increases the richness or
fertility of the soils.
Volcanic eruptions also make available precious gems, mineral
resources such as gold, silver, nickel, copper, and lead for mining.
In the construction industry, the
use of volcanic rocks, sand and
ash has been fully demonstrated
in various parts of the world.

volcanic ash as a cement additive is found
to be more environment friendly
and produce stronger structures.
