INTRODUCTION OF PRABHU
BANK LIMITED
• Prabhu Bank Limited is a commercial bank formed through merger of Kist
Bank, Prabhu Bikas Bank, Gauri Shankar Development Bank and Zenith
Finance, started its commercial operation from 2016.
• Prabhu Bank is an ‘A’ class commercial bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank
and has branches all across the nation with its head office in Kathmandu
which provides entire commercial banking services.
• It has 214 branch offices, 57 extension counters, 191 ATM kiosks,
1,500,000+ customer base and 2000+ staff members.
• It is one of the highest-earning banks in Nepal and is one of the banks having
the highest number of shareholders.
OBJECTIVES OF THE
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
• To understand the implications of academic knowledge.
• To accustom with the activities of customer service department.
• To develop the personal relation skills and communication skill.
• To gain knowledge about the overall banking activities in Nepal.
METHODOLOGY

• Dealing with customer queries , interests and decision making.
• Providing details and guiding during account opening and closing.
• Issuance of Check books and Debit cards for the customers.
• Systematic filing and recording of different files and data.

• Issuance of Prabhu Mobile Banking and Prabhu Smart Banking.
• Destruction of unreceived cheques and debit cards.
• KYC updating of customer.
• Signature confirmation and scanning.
• Working on Infosys Finacle.
PROBLEM SOLVED
• Problem regarding account opening and closing.
• Problem regarding ATM cards
• Problem regarding e-banking, SMS banking and mobile banking
• Problem regarding rules and regulation
• Problem regarding dissatisfaction with service and facilities
provided by bank
LESSON GAINED
• About the different product and services of Prabhu Bank.
• Knowledge of the operations and working procedure of CSD.
• Handle the customer's complaints by listening to them, and
attempting to resolve problems according to the banks rules.
• Work quickly under pressure.
• I found that customer is always right and necessary efforts must be
made to fulfill the customers satisfaction and needs.
• Different aspect of managerial practices in real working
environment.
