What is Multigrade Classes?
• Multigrade teaching (MGT) occurs when a single teacher is
responsible for a class formed of children from two or more
grades.

• Multigrade classes are also called Multi-Age Groups.

• Multi-age is a term commonly used today to describe mixed-age


groups.

experiences, and hobbies. Each of them has

provide learning experiences to the child.

t o g e t h e r. Through group, collaborative,
and peer learning students can help each
o t h e r.
4. The role of teacher in a classroom
