What’s wisdom?
Wisdom is a quality that involves having experience, knowledge, and
good judgement. It is the ability to see beneath the surface of things
and make sound decisions based on that insight. Wisdom is also a
wise attitude, belief, or course of action.

Wisdom can be acquired through experience, learning, life

practices,obstacles and so more.
Life Experience

various situations and learning from both
successes and failures. Real-world experiences
provide valuable lessons that contribute to a
person's wisdom.

Aristotle emphasized the importance of

practical experience and the development of
virtues through habitual actions.
Learning from Mistakes
Making mistakes is a natural part of life, and learning
from these mistakes is a fundamental aspect of
wisdom. Adapting and growing from failures can lead
to a deeper understanding of oneself and the world.

Nietzsche believed that embracing challenges,

including mistakes and difficulties, is essential for
personal growth and wisdom.
Continuous Learning
Wisdom is a lifelong pursuit. Engaging in
continuous learning and staying curious about the
world helps individuals expand their knowledge
and insights over time.

Dewey believed that learning is a lifelong process

and that education should be connected to real-life
experiences.
Reflection
Taking time to reflect on experiences and learnings is
crucial for developing wisdom. Reflection allows
individuals to analyze situations, understand the
underlying principles, and extract meaningful insights.

Socrates is known for his method of questioning, which

encouraged individuals to reflect on their beliefs and
ideas. He believed in the value of self-examination and
critical reflection as a means of gaining wisdom.
Practical Application

Wisdom is not just theoretical knowledge but

involves the practical application of insights gained
over time. The ability to use knowledge effectively
in real-life situations is a key aspect of wisdom.
