Emotion is a state of feeling that leads someone to action. Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand and manage your own emotions and understand and manage others' emotions leading to better performance. Emotional intelligence helps with communicating better, reducing anxiety and stress, diffusing conflicts, improving relationships, empathizing with others, and overcoming life's challenges. It has components of personal competence including self-awareness and self-management, and social competence including social awareness and relationship management. Ways to cope with emotions include managing them with self-awareness, experience sharing, taking rest, stress management techniques, reading, exercise, praying, and attending trainings.
