How important is cell or structure in the body of
the fish?
The liver of the White Perch is very important for its survival. It does a lot
of jobs like storing nutrients, cleaning harmful things, and making
enzymes. Different types of cells, like hepatocytes, biliary epithelial cells,
and endothelial cells, help the liver do these jobs. Hepatocytes are the
main cells that do the work of changing things in the liver. Biliary
epithelial cells change bile before it goes to the intestines, and endothelial
cells help things move around. All of these cells working together is
important for the White Perch to stay healthy.
