 The standard arrangement of droppers assembly
shall be as per drawing No.
ETI/OHE/P/1190.

 The general distribution of droppers on an OHE


span shall be as per drawing No.
ETI/OHE/G/00161.

 The arrangement of OHE span should be


designed in such a way that standard droppers
are used.

Equal Encumbrance 1.40/1.40m
Special Dropper Arrangement

 The special arrangement of dropper as shown


in Drg. No. ETI/OHE/P/1400 may be
followed in exceptional cases wherever
unavoidable.

 The arrangement of the dropper to be adopted


on the through girder bridges as shown in
Drg. No. ETI/OHE/P/1410, where the OHE
is supported on member of girder bridge.
Rigid Dropper

 Adoption of rigid dropper (made of


contact wire only) should be avoided as
far as practicable.
 It should not be adopted, at all on main
running lines.
