Storytelling Demonstration
1. Draw lots to decide on the topic
that you will demonstrate.
2. The whole group will be divided
into groups such that each group
will have 3 members each since
there are 3 storytelling strategies
per story. FOR THE TRAINERS: In
case, the number of participants is
not divisible by 3, just make sure
that all stories must have at least 1
teacher who will give a teaching
demo. All storytelling strategies
must be represented as well.
3. Type/ Write your name under the
story and storytelling strategy that
you picked.
Storytelling Demonstration Procedure
1. You will be given 15 minutes to implement the lesson plan. The observer will
give the hand signals for GO, LAST 1 MINUTE, and STOP.
2. The observer will be given 5 to 10 minutes to give his/ her feedback using
the KLP CLassroom Implementation Checklist. For the Day 3 schedule to
work out, each observer must be given a maximum of 9 teachers. The
trainers made sure that there’ll be enough number of observers.
3. In the Division of Trainers, the participants will give feedback using the KLP
CLassroom Implementation Checklist to the participants assigned to him/
her.
4. The next participant who will give his/ her demo has to get ready as soon as
the previous participants has finished his/ her teaching demo to maximize
the time.

PREPARATION FOR THE STORYTELLING DEMONSTRATION
1. Explore and study the Kinder Learning Package materials- Lesson Plan,
Reproducible Activities, Story PPT Presentations, Waray & SB Story Versions, and
Waray & SB Audio Versions. You may also watch the videos to get concrete
examples of the 3 storytelling strategies, Read Aloud, Creative Reading, and

2. For demonstration purposes, print just about 4 copies of the reproducible
activities. You may also print the lesson plan if you need to have a hard copy.
3. Take some time to practice implementing the lesson plan within the allotted time
of 15 minutes.
