Stan Lee: Life and Legacy in Comics

Stan Lee, born as Stanley Martin Lieber in Manhattan, became assistant to Timely Comics after graduating middle school and studying at the WPA federal theatre project. In 1941 at age 19, he became interim editor of Timely Comics after the departure of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. His first joint creation with Jack Kirby was the Fantastic Four superhero group. Stan Lee died at the age of 95 on December 12th after having a long, influential career in the comic book industry where he created or co-created many popular superheroes.

from middle school and while studying at WPA federal theatre project, Stan Lee became assistant
to Timely comics, his first work he published was ´´captain America foils the traitor´s´´, in may
1914. at the end of the year 1941, Stan Lee at the age of 19 was apponted interim editor of temily
comics after the departure of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby.

Angeles, California.
