Debate On Scientific Intervention Is Necessary To Unearth Buried Mysteries

This document discusses the debate on whether advanced technology can provide conclusive evidence about past events. It presents arguments both for and against this perspective. Those in favor argue that technologies like CT scans, satellite imaging, and forensics can reveal intricate details and clues to solve medical mysteries and confirm the timing of historical events. However, those against counter that gathering facts about the past is not always useful, and that even advanced analysis may not resolve all uncertainties and could potentially create more confusion. The document concludes that while technology may help reconstruct some evidence, it would be unfair to generalize its ability to definitively explain all past cases.

DEBATE ON

SCIENTIFIC
INTERVENTION
IS NECESSARY
TO UNEARTH
BURIED
MYSTERIES

Good morning everyone
I am going to speak on
‘scientific intervention is necessary to
unearth buried mysteries”

I am going to speak in favor of it.

1) Science has the potential to solve all of
man’s problems and challenges provided it is
used rightly.

2) Science is helping man discover the

mysteries of the world. Through science man
has been exploring deep space, planets,
satellites, etc.

3) Recently a space probe, Parker Solar Probe

has been launched to know mysteries about
the Sun; Spirit and Opportunity rovers on
Mars have been helping NASA to unravel
many mysteries related to the red planet;
similarly Hubble Space Telescope helped
NASA to unravel many mysteries that would
have been impossible to be unraveled.
4) Science has the equipment
and know how to unearth
buried mysteries underneath
the earth.

5) Advanced machines such

as seismometers,
sophisticated scanners,
sensors, etc. can be used to
unearth the buried
mysteries.

6) Deep earth robotic probes

can be sent deep down into
the bowels of the earth to
collect data of the deep
earth.
7) Sending deep space probe
missions are far easier than deep
earth explorations as the
temperature keeps increasing as
one goes down the earth; so does
the pressure increase.

8) Besides digging deep into the

earth requires enormous time,
energy, and resources

In such a scenario only science and

technology can help man. Hence,
intervention of science is a must to
know the mysteries hidden in deep
earth.
DEBATE ON
ADVANCED
TECHNOLOGY
GIVES US
CONCLUSIVE
EVIDENCE OF
PAST EVENTS

Roll no - 2
Good morning everyone
I am going to speak on
“debate on advanced technology
gives us conclusive evidence of
past events”
I am going to speak in favor of it.
  1}With advanced technology
such as CT scan, it is possible to
solve medical mysteries related
to deaths.
2) It is possible to create a 3-D
view of the various body parts.
3) It provides intricate details
through forensics, radiology and
anatomy.
4) It helps find new
clues related to life and
death.
5) It provides data for
forensic reconstruction.
6) Technology such as
satellite imaging helps
find buried sites.
7) Date and time of an
event can be confirmed
through advanced
technology.
I am going to speak in against of it.

1) No use of gathering facts
about the past.

2) It’s important to focus

on the present issues and
events rather than
investigating the past.

3) Even with the help of CT

scan, no conclusive
evidences could be
constructed about Tut.
◦ I disagree with the remarks that
advanced technology gives us
conclusive evidence of past events.
It may hold good in certain cases
where evidence can be
reconstructed and examined closely
with the sophisticated techniques of
modem science available now.
However, it will be unfair to
generalise and hold it true in all
cases. Sometimes the processing of
available data may yield
contradictory accounts and create
more confusion than unravelling
the knotted issues. Moreover, the
available evidence may not be
worthy of analysis and
examination. The tests may
determine the possible time period
of the action, but it is quite difficult
to assess the causes that prompted
it or the results that followed it.
