OJT is
• Typically, a type of internal training.
• It might be set up as a program, with defined expectations
• Set beginning and end,
• Often it is far less formal

• Better sense of what their colleagues do for the organization.
• Mentoring Programs
• Includes learning on the job.
• The new hire gains practical advice, encouragement, and support.
