Understanding Social Perception Components

Social perception involves observing people and situations to form impressions and make inferences. It has three main components: observation, attribution, and integration. Observation gathers evidence, attribution expresses why someone behaved a certain way, and integration combines information to form impressions. Factors like individual differences, past experiences, stereotyping, and selective perception influence social perception. People also make judgments about others' warmth and competence based on their moral expressions and present themselves strategically based on social contexts.
