Lesson 3: Measures of Dispersion
Measures of Dispersion
Range:
The difference between the highest and lowest values in a dataset
Interquartile Range

YOUR TURN
Compute for the range, interquartile range, variance, and standard
deviation:
1. 83, 76, 48, 99, 51, 51, 74, 84, 67
2. In a basketball game, a player monitors the minutes he was on
the court for the whole game: 7, 10, 8, 4, 11, 10, 6, 5
