Introduction
Water is the basic need for the existence of life on earth. More than 70%
of water is being wasted only for our daily needs. Which is later left into the
drains/gutters with all other solid waste like plastic ,water bottle’s and
many.Throwing of bottles/plastics and other such objects into the gutters lead
to narrowing and eventually blockage in gutter flow This leads to overflow in
many cases. Labors cleaning gutters & drain seems unethical and also leads
to a high risk of them catching infections or poisoning due to large amounts
of waste/chemicals in them So here we provide a fully automated drain/gutter
cleaning mechanism to tackle these modern day gutter jamming issues.
A project based on cleaning the drainage and avoiding blockage of drain
at the end nodes Our automated gutter/drain cleaning system that lets fluids
flow through it but catches large solid waste like bottles & plastic and
collects it in the external container
The vertical frame bed is used to let liquid flow but catch all solid
waste. The mechanism consists of lifting and droping on conveyor when the
motor starts rotating the jaw lifts up using a motorized shaft which is
connected using a chain to the jaws. It then reaches the top and turns upside
down to dump the solid waste on the conveyor the conveyor moves the waste
to the container. the waste collected in container

Statement of the Problem
Unethical way of cleaning the drainage.(manualy)
Blockage of drain/gutter due to solid waste(more in monsoon season due
to over flow).
Labours getting affected by various diseases from the infectious microbes
present in the sewage while cleaning manually.
Low efficiency and occurring of blockage due to system itself.

1. A shaft is a rotating machine element, usually
circular in cross section, which is used to transmit
power from one part to another, or from machine
which produces power to a machine which
absorbs power.

2. A bearing is a machine element that
constrains relative motion to only the desired
motion, and reduces friction between moving
parts. Hardware Components

APPLICATION
• It is used almost in all types if Drainage (Large , Small & medium).
• This machine is mainly used in cleaning system
• project to use this in efficient way to control the disposal of wastages and
with regular filtration of wastages
• This device is suitable to hold flat type plate. (maximum length 1.5 feet)
Dept. of MED, SJCIT 17
ADVANTAGES
• Production cost is very low.
• No need of purchase special machine.
• It is mainly very useful to hold the lengthy plate(1.5 feet) in particular position.
• Its operated and maintenance is simple.
• It is compact and portable.
• It can be efficiently used.
