Enhanced Instructional Management by Parents, Community and Teachers (e-IMPACT)

The e-IMPACT (Enhanced Instructional Management by Parents, Community and Teachers) system is an alternative elementary education delivery model that relies on collaboration between parents, teachers, and the community. It aims to address high student populations and dropout rates. Key principles include engaging students as active learners through various modes like programmed teaching, peer learning, and individual study. Learning materials are based on national standards and education is a socializing process not solely led by teachers. The system allows flexible entry/exit and individual pacing. It restructures classrooms into "families" of mixed ages and abilities with peer leaders and shifts faculty and community roles to support the new model, including in emergency situations.
