Part 3 – Artefacts
Artefacts
• It is now time to choose your artefacts. These are what the SBA
will be based on. Take care in selecting them. Make sure that:
• It is of a significant length
• Make sure it has a clear language strategy (will help in reflection 2)
• You MUST have at least one artefact in print.
One of your pieces MUST be print

3. Comic strip
4. Poster videos 3. Interviews/News reports
The syllabus explicitly states that students can use
any of the following: Biographies, advertisements, 3. Documenta
histories, brochures, novels, cartoon strips, poems, ry
diaries, plays, newspaper articles, short stories,
pamphlets and speeches (public) 4. News report
At least one of your pieces MUST be in print.

For articles, poems and songs, insert as follows:
Note that the title, author, URL and the
words of the song are included. Follow
this outline and insert songs, poems,
articles

For posters or pictures:
Follow this same outline but include a
picture of the poster or picture after the
source.

For youtube videos:
Follow this same outline but place a small
description after the source. For example:
Description: This video shows the trial
and questioning of a defendant called
Race. It shows that Race is just a myth
that exists only in our minds. It is recited
in poetry format.
Your task
• Find, choose and insert all three of your Artefacts using the outline
provided.
