PRASANG 1
July 10, 2017 | Chicago, Illinois
On July 10, 2017, the yuvaks of Chicago were performing a small skit for the evening Sabha. Within this skit, they were asking
Swamishri questions and Swamishri was gracefully answering them. One yuvak proposed a question, “How can one maintain
balance between mandir, home, and work? It is quite challenging.” Swamishri witfully responded, “Become a sadhu,” and began
laughing. “Yes that is true [it is difficult to maintain balance]. Also, it is only one with good fortune who does become a sadhu,”
Swamishri replied. He proceeded to say, “There were 100s of thousands of household haribhakto who made a resolve to please
Shriji Maharaj in place of otherworldly figureheads. It is because they understood that through their countless births, it was only in
this one did they meet Shriji Maharaj. If you too make this resolve and understand your luck, then your entire thought process will
change, your Satsang will become resolute, and your questions will surely disappear. If you see to it that satsang is true and
everything else is deceptive then there will be no problem. Actions performed for the pursuit of worldly objects leave you with no
eternal fruits—zero in fact—whereas actions inspired by satsang will leave you with such fruits; therefore, lean towards satsang.
Prioritize mandir and seva first, there is no problem with doing work. Everything will fall into place from there.”

July 20, 2017 | Toronto, Canada
Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj was seated in a general Sabha following his morning puja and made the
following remark, “I wish to tell you two things.” With this being said, Swamishri started doing a nirupan on his
favorite granth—Purushottam Bolya Prite. “Firstly, regardless of having the immense blessings of both
Bhagwan and his Sant, if one takes abhav-avgun of a haribhakta then he will not attain Akshardham,”
Swamishri continues to say, “Secondly, if there is one who does not do seva of Bhagwan and his Sant, but
speaks of a haribhakta’s qualities [guns],then we see it as if he has done a tremendous amount of seva.
Furthermore, if they speak the qualities of Bhagwan, his Sant, and his haribhakto then even if he is far away—
as if he is abroad in a distant land—he in actuality is in Akshardham. "Upon making these two statements,
Swamishri asked the question, “From which of these two will you favor?” The haribhakto in attendance all in
unison shouted, “Gun Grahan!” With this Swamishri asked for affirmation, “Paku?” Once again, all haribhakto
shouted, “Yes!”

July 28, 2017 | San Jose, California
On July 28, 2017, in the evening sabha being held in San Jose, California, Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj was
giving ashirwad to those in attendance. Swamishri said, “Maharaj has come. Gunatit Gurus, Pramukh Swami Maharaj,
everyone has come. Not only that, but they have come like us. Imagine if they did not come like us? Looking directly at
our one Sun is difficult—if it were to come any closer to our Planet then we would be burned to ash—now if there were
infinite Suns like that, then how would we even comprehend let alone look at that? It is for this reason, they [Bhagwan
and his Sant] have come like us.” Upon making this statement, Swamishri referenced Nishkulanand Swami and
continued to say, “‘Keya kedi kari midap, bahre bhed chhere. Kya Purushottam ap, ane kya apne? [What is the
possibility for a friendship between an ant and elephant to occur? They are very different. Where is Purushottam and
where am I?]’ It is through Bhagwan’s Sant that we have met Bhagwan himself. Make this thought staunch in your
head: Right now we are experiencing the same prapti as during Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s time. If you do not
understand this then you are simply walking in circles. Oftentimes we ask how do we attain prapti? The answer is
vishwas. Vishwas is prapti.”

MAHANT SWAMI MAHARAJ’S SADHUTA
This prasang occurred when Mahant Swami Maharaj was the mahant of Mumbai Mandir. Along with many administrative
responsibilities, he had to take care of many individuals as well. One such person had a very rigid personality, but Mahant
Swami Maharaj would nurture him with utmost love. That person had a strong dislike for certain food items. On one occasion,
Mahant Swami Maharaj, along with other santo, sat down to eat. The other individual was also eating with everyone. As the
food was being served, one of the individuals teasingly served the very food item that the person had a strong dislike for. As a
result, that person got angry, took his plate and spilled it on Mahant Swami Maharaj who was sitting next to him. Some got
angry seeing this, but Mahant Swami Maharaj was calm. Instead of anger, there was compassion in his eyes. Without saying
a word, he got up, changed his clothes, came back and sat beside that same person. Some people tried to set that person
straight, but Mahant Swami Maharaj intervened and stopped them. Not only did he stop them, but he also asked for
forgiveness from that individual who spilled his plate on him! There was no fury on Mahant Swami Maharaj’s face, nor was
there any embarrassment of getting humiliated in front of others. All one could see was compassion and a gentle smile on his
face. Everyone who witnessed this prasang was touched by Mahant Swami Maharaj’s sadhuta and mental stability
